In today’s world where convenience holds the most value, Snabbit quietly scripts a transformative tale, one that may very well change the way that consumers address their needs at home.
This all stemmed from the vision of making home services accessible in a similar way to food delivery: quickly and reliably. Now, what began as an innovative idea has grown into an established venture, having announced a fresh Series D fund raise of $56 million. This series has been led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, Mirae Asset Venture Investments, and Bertelsmann India Investments. The existing investors who have backed Snabbit since its inception, Nexus Venture Partners and Lightspeed, have chosen to join in again. With this, the cumulative funds raised by Snabbit have now amounted to $112 million.
Speaking on the matter, founder and CEO of Snabbit, Aayush Agarwal, said that this new round of fundraising would not only enhance the balance sheet of the company but also allow it to expand further into micro markets and additional service verticals.
Spreading Out to Major Cities in India
Having expanded to major cities such as Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, and emerging in Hyderabad and Pune, the platform aims even further in expanding its operations. Within the next year, the company hopes to gain momentum in at least 10 metro cities in the country, capitalizing on the rising consumer demand for efficient services from home.
Redefining an Industry with Ease
One of the most striking features of Snabbit is the way it is revolutionizing an unorganized market. The platform currently manages about 40,000 tasks daily and operates among a base of over 10 million active customers monthly. This success story wouldn’t be complete without talking about the people behind it. 15,000 service providers, all of whom happen to be women.
Instant Home Services – the Emerging Trend
It is evident that consumers today have evolved in their behavior and seek out services that guarantee both speed and quality. Platforms like Snabbit allow booking appointments for instant delivery, usually within just hours along with standard pricing, verified professionals, and managed quality of service. Consistency is what allows Snabbit to move from an occasional to a regular user base.
Snabbit Moves Beyond Cleaning to Become a Repeat Product
In its current phase of growth, the firm plans to diversify in the high-frequency use categories like home cooks, childcare, elderly care, drivers and others. Through such efforts, Snabbit hopes to position home services more as a part of life than a once-off need.
This evolution at Snabbit can be seen as part of the emerging trend in India’s service sector where speed and trust come together for convenience at scale.
